Specialist coffee franchise Second Cup has just opened its first branch in Abu Dhabi, after proving to be a big hit in the rest of the United Arab Emirates. 32-Year old entrepreneur Tariq Abdullah Al Marzouqi is the lucky owner of the franchise unit.
Mohi-Din Bin Hendi, master franchisee of the Second Cup Coffee Company for the Middle East, has been encouraging this expansion from the start. He specifically selected a young entrepreneur for this project, because he wants to stimulate youthful UAE residents to gain more experience in the business. After all, they are the future of the company.
"Second Cup has successfully established a strong following among coffee lovers across Dubai," the Master Franchisee said at the signing ceremony. Its move into Abu Dhabi shows how successful Second Cup's formula is in the Middle East.
Al Marzouqi was thrilled about being chosen as a franchisee: "For me, operating a respected brand like Second Cup presents a fantastic opportunity, and I thank Bin Hendi Enterprises for its confidence in me," ,he said. "I have always been interested in hospitality business and Second Cup will be my first business; I’m looking forward to expand more with Bin Hendi enterprises' support and cooperation. Now I have the chance to bring the ultimate coffee experience to my home city, Abu Dhabi."
The Abu Dhabi store will be Second Cup's 47th franchise unit in the Middle East, and the 14th in the UAE. Throughout the region Second Cup offers high-quality products in a comfortable environment.
