Papa John’s Long Serving Franchisee Buys Bognor

25 June 2018

Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced franchisee of 16 years, Matthew Liddiard, has bought the franchise for the brand-new Bognor Regis store, now open on Hawthorn Road, near the town centre.  Ten local staff have already been employed and trained to deliver Papa John’s to quality pizza, to residents in the area and the team are currently still recruiting.

“I am one of Papa John’s longest serving franchisees,” confirms Matthew Liddiard.  “Prior to joining the Company, I ran my own independent pizza store for many years before setting up a coffee shop, so I’ve been in fast-food retail for most of my career.  However, I’m not a morning person so pretty soon, I switched back to pizza!

“The move to Papa John’s offered me the chance to run more than one store, so now I also manage Papa John’s in Kingston and Surbiton plus the new outlet in Bognor Regis,” continues Liddiard.  “Bognor Regis is a great residential area, with many families living in the region as well as Chichester University students and holiday makers, which we hope will also boost summer trade.

“Over the years, Papa John’s reputation for delivering: “BETTER INGREDIENTS.  BETTER PIZZA.” has grown.   This concept means we only use the finest ingredients and fresh dough for a better flavour.  We combine this with a great service offering to ensure our customers keep coming back for more!  We are now looking forward to delivering in Bognor Regis and building up our reputation with the local community as the supplier for simply the best pizza in town.”

As one of the largest pizza companies in the world, Papa John’s has opportunities for franchisees throughout the UK.  Help is provided with location selection and full turn-key opening of stores.  As a franchise, the Company supplies all the assistance needed to get your successful Papa John’s up and running.
