Papa John’s is Hot Favourite in Newmarket

15 November 2018

Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s has become a ‘hot favourite’ following its latest store opening in Newmarket, the English town famed for its horse-racing heritage.

Papa John’s franchisee Balwinder Bal stated: “We think our Newmarket store will be a winner!  Plus, we also have plans to open more Papa John’s locally and are currently researching suitable premises to get us off to a flying start.”

Balwinder has spent a life-time in the pizza industry, starting out in the kitchens of a rival firm 20 years ago and working his way up to store manager.  In 2014 he joined Papa John’s to run the Berkhamsted store with his brother and now Ballwinder also runs Oxford Marston and Gerrard’s Cross.

“Papa John’s approached me about Newmarket as they had already identified a property and knew I was keen to expand my portfolio of stores,” confirms Balwinder.  “I was lucky to be able to take advantage of Papa John’s franchisee incentive scheme which supplies help with equipment, marketing and reduced franchisee fees to ‘take a gamble’ on the new outlet.   Newmarket is a thriving market town popular with families and with a great racing heritage.  It’s not often pizza is associated with horseracing but now I really think this combination will be safe bet!”

As one of the largest pizza companies in the world, Papa John’s has opportunities for franchisees throughout the UK.  Help is provided with location selection and full turn-key opening of stores.  As a franchise, the Company supplies all the assistance needed to get your successful Papa John’s up and running.
