Beef and pork may be off the table in Chris Brown’s own house, but not in his businesses. Despite professing that he eats neither, the rapper and singer has revealed that he owns 14 Burger King restaurants.
In an interview with US Weekly’s ’25 Things You Don’t Know About Me’, Brown divulged that alongside being the first person to be in prison with a no. 1 record at the same time, he is also a Burger King franchisee.
He also admitted to other enlightening facts, such as his first car being a Lamborghini and that he is a ‘man of many emotions’.
On the outset, a celebrity owning a fast food franchise (or 14 of them) may seem unique, however he is not the first to do so. Rapper Kanye West, for one, bought his fiancé (at the time) a string of 10 European Burger Kings as a pre-nuptial gift. He also owns 10 Fatburger restaurants in Chicago.
Numerous other American celebrities have invested in fast-food franchises, including ‘Happy’ hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams (several Fatburger restaurants in China) and NFL star Peyton Manning (21 Papa John’s pizza restaurants in Denver).
