Sophie, aged 23, took over from her father as Managing Director in 2010 and had already clocked up 5 years in the business in franchise support and also runs her own successful outlets in the brand. She is also the UK’s youngest franchisor and is injecting young, dynamic and fresh thinking into the business to enable it to achieve it’s full potential, both here and overseas.

Sophie is a member of the Encouraging Women Into Franchising group (EWIF) and actively promotes the benefits of franchising for female entrepreneurs.

Sophie Brooks said: “I am delighted to have won the EWIF Franchisor of the Year award. Franchising is a fantastic opportunity for people to run their own businesses and I would love to see more women entering my franchise as they possess many unique qualities and characteristics that enhance the network.

“I’m really excited about the future, especially with the tremendous franchisees in each of my rockschool outlets behind me. I’m looking forward to encouraging more women to join us and helping them to achieve success and recognition."
