One of the UK’s leading golf franchises has launched a major expansion.
The partnership with Elverys Sports will involve opening two key stores in early December with the rollout of several other Nevada Bob's golf franchise stores within the Elverys Sports chain from early next year.
Elverys Sports was established in 1847 and is the oldest sports store in Ireland. Following a take over by Staunton Sports in 1998, the chain has expanded from a single-store operation to 55 stores nationwide and is the leading specialist sports retailer in the Irish Republic.
Patrick Rowland, CEO of Elverys Sports says: “We are extremely happy to be joining the Nevada Bobs network and look forward to developing the brand within Ireland and providing a high level of golf expertise and service to golfers of all ages and abilities.
“Aspire To Golf Ltd has the franchise rights to the Aberdeen area which includes the superstore on Springfield Road and retail unit in the north east’s premier golfing facility, The Aspire Golf Centre. Aspire To Golf Ltd will continue their expansion by opening Scotland’s largest Nevada Bob’s store in Perth in time for the Christmas trade.
John Duthie, Managing Director of Aspire To Golf Ltd says:
“The partnership between Aspire and Nevada Bob’s will allow us to bring a new level of service and expertise to new areas throughout Scotland and we look forward to offering golfers of all levels our knowledge and support.”
Adrian Woolford, managing director of Nevada Bob’s (Europe) Limited says:
“We are delighted to be in partnership with both Elverys Sports and Aspire To Golf Ltd and add to our growing chain of retail stores nationwide. Our commitment to every golfer is to help improve their game and I firmly believe that these strong partnerships will help make a huge difference to golfers in these locations.”
Nevada Bob’s golf stores carry over 2,500 products from all the leading brands, including Callaway, Mizuno, Ping, Taylormade, Cleveland, Nike and many more.
